Pasta is a favourite among most cultures, the beauty of it being that it can be prepared in a hurry, in the space of a few minutes, perfect for a Ramazan breakfast if you get home late from work.
Taste brings you Rizu’s Mushroom & Spinach Linguine recipe, modified from a simple Aglio Olio recipe, with herbs and greens thrown in to satisfy the taste buds of any pasta lover.
- Olive Oil
- Garlic 10 cloves
- Chilli flakes 2 tsp
- Beef salami or turkey strips 200 grams
- Marinades (sundried tomato, olives, mushroom, artichoke, feta cheese) 200grams
- Spinach leaves 100 grams
- Mushroom 100 grams
- Coriander leaves, handful
- Cherry tomatoes
- Parsley leaves, handful
- Mixed herbs 1 tsp
- salt & pepper, to taste
Heat pan with olive oil, fry the meats and keep aside.
Add some olive oil and fry the garlic until slightly brown, then add the mushrooms and sauté until brown
Add the chilli flakes, herbs and roots of coriander leaves.
Fry on medium heat for 5 minutes and then add the sliced meat, marinade, salt, pepper and cooked linguine.
