I always expect chocolate cakes on my birthday but this time around, I was pleasantly surprised with a butter cake topped off with fruits. The presentation itself took my breath away. The cake was finished off with nothing more than strawberries, peaches and kiwis on top, and a whipped cream frosting around and in between the two layers. It was great that there were pieces of fruit in between the layer of whipped cream itself. The choices of fruit gave it a perfect balance between tangy and sweet, which I absolutely love. What’s surprising was that after leaving the cake in the fridge overnight, it tasted even better – the flavors had seeped into the cake and made it even more delicious. As a professional cake-lover, I can recommend this to everyone.
