This colorful evening of fine cuisines featured an international buffet spread with welcome drinks and special dishes prepared by their Chef’s team with success stories of survivors and other Cancer Society initiatives and achievements highlights for the year.
The “let your love light up a life” themed Gala dinner event, which raised more than MVR 177,940.00, in rufiyaa US$ 11,540.00 in dollars, culminated with a live music performance by the famous Detune Band with the launching of the Cancer Awareness song “Aafeshumakun” (a new beginning), raffle draw and recognition awards for the supporters of Cancer society. The event was such a success the first year 2017 that fortified Jen Hotel to sponsor the event for a second year.
